    The ITCILO Gender Academy is the leading global event where gender equality advocates come together to learn and discuss gender equality, decent work and sustainable development. As a participant, you will be exposed to international knowledge, explore the challenges and policies related to the promotion of gender equality in the world of work, learn to apply tools and methods adaptable to you own environment, share experiences with professionals and/or organizations, and identify strategies for collaboration and networking.


    The Academy’s keynote lectures and workshops will focus on current challenges and ILO themes, seen from an international perspective, such as:

    • Care work, the care economy and the care value chain
    • From low pay to equal pay
    • Violence and harassment in the world of work: the gender dimensions
    • Gender equality in employment for a fairer and more sustainable growth
    • The gender and labour dimensions of migration
    • And many other ILO topics!
